On April 2nd, developers from around the world will gather for Microsoft’s annual //build conference talk about what’s next for Windows, Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, Visual Studio, and more. While the event in San Francisco is sold out, I wanted to share with you how to get involved locally in Austin:
Starting March 26th, you can gear up for conference with this new, free and informative Jump Start series, “Building Blocks.” Dust off your skills and join these deep dives covering HTML5, XAML, CSS, C#, mobile services, working with data, and much more. The live events with real-time Q&A sessions feature expert presenters who share their practical experience and insights.
Be there from here:
On April 2nd – 3rd, you can join us at the Microsoft Stores in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston to watch the //Build keynotes and select sessions live online with other local developers and IT pros. I’ll be at the Austin location, but we’ll be streaming the event at both.
Keynotes will begin at 10:30 am (CST) and end at approximately 1:30 pm (CST). Join us for all or part of the keynotes on both days or just one. RSVPs are not required, but do help us plan. Find more information and RSVP here:
- Austin – Microsoft Store at The Domain
- San Antonio – Microsoft Store at The Shops at La Cantera
- Houston – Microsoft Store at The Galleria
Still can’t make it to the viewing party? Watch from the comfort of your office or home at http://channel9.msdn.com/Events/Build. You can download the Channel 9 Events App, to browse all content and create your own schedule.
