SXSW is upon us and just like last year, I’ll be spending more time at unofficial events than I will at the actual conference. I’ll be all around downtown catching events with developers, designers and startups. I’ve highlighted some of those events which I’m most excited about. I hope you’ve RSVP’d for each of them!

Thursday, March 12th

||The University of Texas at Austin School of Journalism is organizing a hackathon for journalists, software developers, and designers, sponsored by the Austin American-Statesman.
|5pm – 9pm
||Join me at the 3rd Annual ATC Gateway Party to kick off Austin’s largest tech conference! This event showcases Austin’s executive clout, global appeal, and the collaborative and vibrancy of the Austin tech scene while showcasing Austin Technology Council member companies.
